AMD Unleashes the Phenom II X4 980BE Processor

AMD today announced the launch of the Phenom II X4 980 Black Edition CPU, which is based on the Deneb architecture and runs at a clock speed of 3.7GHz – AMD’s highest ever stock clock speed. As with all Black Edition CPUs, this one features an unlocked multiplier for easier overclocking too.
