Intel is looking to create awareness about the recently launched Intel Core 2 duo processors with Xplore - the digital experience lounge - hosting the six-day awareness campaign in Mumbai. Experts from Xplore will demonstrate to retailers, resellers and visitors to IT stores on Lamington Road through a slide show and give them a hands-on experience of gaming with Intel Core 2 Duo Processors. As part of the campaign the retailers are also encouraged to participate in a gaming tournament and play 'Need For Speed' in which the retailer with the highest score stands the chance of winning a prize. M.P.Narayanchar, Deputy Manager, Xplore said, "The best performance of a PC can be gauged when you are using some difficult graphics like NFS with fast moving graphics, it gives you the actual experience of the processing speed." On comparing the Intel Pentium D with the Intel Core2 Duo Processor, the latter has 40% less consumption and has 40% more productivity. Users can also avail of faster video rendering - 9.7 minutes for a 25-minute video as compared to 13.4 minutes for the same activity on the Pentium D. The awareness campaign is categorized into three phases; the first of which is aimed at the retailers and resellers who in turn will take it to the consumers. Spread over six days the campaign involves demonstrations from morning to evening at retail stores, anchoring at retail outlets in the evening and a gaming tournament for retailers. The second phase involves Xplore taking the campaign to the four metros and finally in the third phase to eight major cities in India. Narayanchar maintains that by conceptualizing & executing innovative programs, Xplore aims to evolve as a unique marketing services agency capable of understanding the product positioning & then do a 360 degrees marketing campaign for vendors like Intel. |
