Acer Launches New Desktops

Acer has announced the launch of 2 desktops - Aspire IE-3216 and Aspire IE-3460 - for the design conscious home user in India. These machines come bundled with a 19" TFT display and speakers.

The Acer Aspire IE-3216 is powered by the Intel C2D E2160 (1.8 GHz) processor and the Acer Aspire IE-3460 is equipped with an E4600 processor. The systems jointly come equipped with a system memory of 1 GB RAM DDR2, which can be upgraded to 2 GB and a 160 GB SATA 7200 RPM HDD. The machines also come equipped with a 16x DVD-RW Super-Multi drive and 8 USB slots. The Acer Aspire IE-3460 comes with a newly designed keyboard that sports a super slim look, with soft-touch keys and blue LED lighting along with 17 hotkeys and a volume knob.

The desktops come bundled with an Education CD Pack and New Creative Stereo Speakers and a 1-year onsite warranty.

The Aspire IE-3460 is available at Rs. 25,999 + taxes and the Aspire IE-3216 is available at a price of Rs. Rs. 22,999+ taxes
