Taking a leaf out of Apple’s book, Dell has launched an All-in-One PC that combines the display unit and CPU into a single cohesive unit. This makes it similar to the normal range of Apple desktops i.e. the system comes only with a widescreen display, mouse and keyboard. The CPU/GPU and other components reside inside the display. The introduction of this new unit, has been done with 4 different segments in mind. They are the Essential One (budget market), the Music One ( Audio Enthusiasts), Performance One (Gaming and CPU intensive use) and Entertainment One ( for multimedia enthusiasts). Each of these systems will come with base models consisting of 250 GB HDDs, 2 GB of system memory, a TV tuner and a remote control. The Music One system will come with wireless headphones and the entertainment system will come with an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro graphics card with 256 MB of memory |
