26 Jun, 2008, 2:03 pm IST | by Laiq Qureshi | Point and Shoot

We have been tracking D700 rumors on various technology blogs and this morning my heart skipped a beat when I saw the first shots of the D700.

The D700 is said to have the Nikon FX-format 12.1MP CMOS sensor and a 3-inch LCD screen along with an FX sensor and EXPEED image-processing just like the D3. This means better and less noisy images at high ISO levels.

The D700 will also have 51 focus points.

It will be out, it seems, by August, for an estimated price of $3,299.99.

Can you beat that!!
