Olympus has launched the new E-P2, successor to the E-P1 with new and improved changes. It’s the second interchangeable lens camera from Olympus. It ships with two additional ‘Art Filters’ and the iEnhance mode to give better color quality and enhance the brightness and saturation.

It has a new port to connect the VF-2 electronic viewfinder, which can also be replaced and used to connect an external microphone. A few more added features are subject tracking AF and manual controls for the movie mode. You can now adjust the shutter speed and aperture in the movie mode.

Specs:
• Dimensions (WxHxD): 121mm x 70mm x 36mm
• Weight: 335g
• Sensor: 17.3 x 13.0 mm (Live MOS)
• Resolution: 12.3 Megapixel (4032 x 3024)
• Video recording: 720p (1280 x 720)
• ISO: 100 – 6400
• Shutter speed: 60-1/4000 sec
• Display: 3.0” - 230,000 pixel resolution.
• Viewfinder: Electronic
• Storage : SD / SDHC

But a few things still remain the same as the E-P1. The LCD is the same 230,000 pixels and the camera still doesn’t have an inbuilt flash. The camera will sell with a 17mm pancake lens or 14-22mm zoom lens. Indian release date and pricing not available as yet.
