LG's Blu-ray/HD-DVD Combo is Coming!

LG has now officially announced that it will launch a dual-format Blu-ray and HD-DVD disc player in the US early this year!

Instead of taking sides in the heated war between Blu-ray and HD-DVD supports, LG was one of the first biggies to offer the best of both the worlds to the users by announcing a single dual-format device capable of playing both next generation formats, Blu-ray and HD-DVD. This was indicated earlier last year, but in the months that followed, LG had also announced that it had "no official plans at the moment."

LG will provide details at CES in the next four days, so stick around and we'll keep you posted!
