Paris Hilton and Playmates to Grace iTunes

| If you havn't had enough of Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie prancing about wondering how to encash their first playcheck, then you might want to download the reality show, now available on iTunes. E! Entertainment has signed up with Apple to offer select shows for download the digital music store including reality show "The Simple Life: Till Death Do Us Apart" and Hugh Hefner's behind-the-scenes series of Playboy Mansion life in "The Girls Next Door," for $1.99 per download. E! Entertainment will also offer its celebrity news and pop culture show "The Soup," along with plastic-surgery reality program "Dr. 90210," on iTunes as part of the deal. Ted Harbert, president and CEO, E! Entertainment said, "This new partnership underscores our commitment to our E! Everywhere initiative, making E! content available to viewers on multiple platforms and on demand. We're delighted to pursue this new programming opportunity with iTunes, allowing us to further expand the E! brand and reach even more entertainment fans."Apple claims that since launching the video service on iTunes, over 35 million videos have been sold. Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes said the digital music store provides the best way for fans to discover, purchase and download video online, adding that iTunes is thrilled to expand its growing video catalog with original content from E! Entertainment Television. |
