Vadim Offers Monster Gaming Rig

Since the release of Intel's new Kentsfield chip, enthusiast PC assemblers seem to have gone ballistic in an effort to get you to empty your wallets. After Omen and VodooPC, the latest to jump on the bandwagon, is Vadim PC.


It's offering a custom-built machine, which packs in an Intel quad-core 2.66GHz Core 2 Extreme QX6700 processor, on an Asus P5N32-SLI Premium motherboard, with 2 GB of DDR2 RAM, two of Nvidia's upcoming GPU 8800GTX 768Mb PCI-e graphics cards, twin 150 GB Raptor 10000 drives with a 750GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 for storage, a dual-layer DVD burner, CD-burning combo drive, and a Creative 7.1 X-Fi ExtremeMusic sound card.

The only things missing in this are an LCD panel and mouse/keyboard which have to be procured separately. The system carries with it a 2-year warranty and is available for an incredible $9,000 (Rs 4 Lakh).
