Transcend introduces 25A3 shock-resistant portable hard drive

In an already crowded world of portable hard drives, Transcend has introduced another product called the 25A3, a shock resistant, USB 3.0 portable drive. This slim and compact hard drive comes in different capacities like 500GB, 750GB and 1TB and is priced at Rs. 6,150, Rs. 7,350 and Rs. 9,800, respectively. All the drives carry a three-year limited warranty and will be available in all major cities.

Rugged and durable

The enclosure of the 25A3 includes a special suspension system that protects the hard drive if dropped. The drive also features a one-touch backup solution, which automatically backs up your critical and important data at the push of a button. The 25A3 comes with a hardware based 256-bit AES file and folder encryption for data security. Thanks to the speedier connection, the drive can deliver real-world transfer speeds of up to 90MB/s, thereby reducing transfer times by less than half. The pricing for the 500GB drive is slightly higher than a standard USB 3.0 drive of the same capacity.
