Assassin's Creed Finally Confirmed for PC and Xbox 360

01 Sep, 2006, 4:38 pm IST | Avinash Bali |

After months of teasing and tantalizing, Ubisoft has finally come clean and announced that Assassin’s Creed will be available for the PC and the Xbox 360.

For months, the French developer behind games like Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell was playing coy (and annoying the crap out of everyone by doing so), but yesterday Ubisoft representative Michael Beadle issued a statement to 1up.com that said, “Assassin’s Creed PC will indeed see the light some day. Details will be provided at a later date.” As far as the 360 version goes, Ubisoft conveyed the word to Electronic Gaming Monthly that Assassins Creed will grace that platform too; expect an official word soon.

Now the question on every one’s mind is how different will the PC version be from the PS3 or the 360 version? Will the PS3 get any exclusive content? Why were Ubiosft constantly pimping the PS3 version, when in fact there was a 360 and a PC version in the pipelines. We’ll bring you more as and when it happens…
