While Activision hasn't announced their upcoming DJ Hero franchise yet, rumors of it have been running rampant all over, exciting wannabe musicians like me. DJ Tiesto couldn't curb his enthusiasm, and spilled the beans of his involvement with DJ Hero - "We are proud to announce that Tiesto has teamed up with the game developer Activision and their latest project DJ Hero. Tiesto: I am very excited about this! I think this is a great way to introduce people into DJing, maybe they realize it's not as easy as they think. I am sure this brings new fans to the scene; dance music is not far from hip-hop for example. Hopefully the music I have composed appeals to all kinds of fans!" As you might have guessed, the game will feature some of his music. For those of you that haven't been up to date with the buzz, here's what the rumors floating around suggest. DJ Hero will feature a controller a lot like a DJ deck. The gameplay will be a lot like Guitar Hero, where you've got to hit notes and time them perfectly to do any good. Also, you might be able to jam with a friend wielding a guitar controller! [Via 1UP.com ] |
