All those haters out there who feel games are a total waste of time should take note of the fact that gaming improves surgical skills; no this does not mean Nikhil or me could operate on you as and when the time comes, but in case you're a surgeon, you may wanna start playing some video games. According to a report on MSNBC, a study conducted by the Beth Israel Medical Center (New York) found out that surgeons who played video games made fewer errors as compared to those who didn't. To sum it all up, video games increase your "fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, visual attention, depth perception and computer competency", so the next time your mom tells you to stop playing games, you tell her your plans on becoming a surgeon. |
