No Ryu or Ken in Street Fighter Flick

When you think ‘Street Fighter’ the first image that comes to mind is a Shoruken/Hadoken from Ryu or Ken right? It seems the upcoming Street Fighter flick that will focuses on Chun-Li (The Legend of Chun-Li) won’t feature either one of those fighters. Here’s what the film’s producer Patrick Aiello had to say in a Q&A on the movie’s blog:

"We want to do each [fighter] the justice he/she deserves.

So, in short, Ken and Ryu will not be appearing in this film.

…that doesn’t mean we won’t see our red and white-clad heroes in potential sequels..."

I know that a few might be disappointed by this, but look at this way – at least the movie won’t portray them as complete nincompoops like the last Street Fighter movie did!
