Rock Band Dated, Priced at $169.99

02 Oct, 2007, 1:00 pm IST | Nikhil Singh |

The biggest upcoming party game has been priced, and the tag is nowhere as high as we’d expected. The game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will cost $169.99 and ship with a drum kit, guitar, and microphone!

The Xbox 360 version will have a wired guitar, while the PS3’s will be wireless (boohoo!). To accommodate all the accessories, the Xbox 360 version will supposedly have a USB hub bundled with it.

The game will be released on November 23rd for the 360 and PS3, and on December 10th for the PS2. The PS2 version will contain a wireless guitar and will cost USD $159.99.

Let’s hope that the game gets released for their respective platforms in India too, with a similar price tag. $170 = around Rs. 6,800, which is a real good deal for such a game. I just can’t wait to get my hands on it!

It's quite short and it doesn't have any sort of versus multiplayer but The Darkness II is a polished and brutal shooter you should definitely check out, especially if you like ripping dudes to shreds.
