Silent Hill Origins Heading to the PS2

23 Jan, 2008, 12:29 pm IST | Avinash Bali |

Porting PSP games to the PS2 seems to be the latest fad these days, and keeping that tradition in mind Konami has decided to port its spooky PSP outing, Silent Hill Origins, to the PS2.

The PS2 version will not bring a lot of new stuff to the table as far as content is concerned; in fact it’ll just boast of improved controls, courtesy of the PS2’s second analog stick.

In case you have no clue as to what Origins is all about, here’s a slight heads-up:

Assuming the role of Travis Grady, a lone truck driver trapped in Silent Hill while making a routine delivery, players must escape the city's horrific inhabitants and confront the strange hallucinations that have haunted Travis since childhood.

I'm really hoping this trend sticks around until God of War: Chains of Olympus comes out.
