Assassin's Creed Embers Announced

The Assassin’s Creed franchise is one that has improved exponentially throughout the years. While the first game has a ton of potential, it was bogged down by repetitive gameplay and terrible mission structure and only after Assassin’s Creed II did Ubisoft really hit their stride. Now as they plan on wrapping up Ezio’s tale with Assassin’s Creed Revelations this November, Ubisoft are also releasing a 20 minute short animated film for that extra sense of closure.

As per the trailer, Ezio is an old man living the good life with his wife and child, wary of the fact that someone out there is trying to take him down. Of course, when the poop hits the fan, old man or not, Ezio breaks out his blades to rain down some serious pain on his enemies.


While price hasn’t been announced yet, players can download Embers across both Xbox Live and PSN when it arrives alongside Revelations, this November.
