Contrary to what certain rumours suggested, Call of Duty: Elite is basically Activision’s way of allowing Call of Duty players to track their statistics with insane detail. Elite will be free to download but certain aspects of this service will be paid for according to gamergaia.com. What those aspects would be is anyone’s guess as Activision hasn’t even officially announced this service yet. The existence of Elite was leaked via a Youtube video that has now been taken down by Activision. They do, however plan on officially announcing Call of Duty: Elite, tomorrow. Elite enough to join the club?
