Crysis 2 Demo (finally) Arrives on PSN

PS3 owners sat back patiently and watched their console and PC brethren enjoy the Crysis 2 demo but now they’ll be able to join in on the action as Crytek have released the very same multiplayer demo on PSN today. The demo weighs in at around 1.5 GB and will allow players to experience two maps - Skyline & Pier 17 – as well as two game modes - Team Instant Action and Crash Site.

Team Instant Action is basically Team Deathmatch while Crash Site is a variant of King of the Hill where both teams struggle to control a certain section of the map. This is of course just a teaser of things to come as Crysis 2 will pack in six multiplayer modes when it launches.

Crysis 2 will release for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 25th of March 2011. If you plan on picking up the collector’s edition, you’ll be glad to know that it will be available in India on that very same date as well.
