Dishonored gets cinematic trailer

Arkane Studios, the development house behind games like Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic have been working on a brand new IP called Dishonored in conjunction with Bethesda Software. Except for a few press outlets no one had seen the game in action but all that has changed as Bethesda have released a cinematic trailer for Dishonored.



As you can see, the game takes place in a fictional Steampunk inspired universe and gameplay seems like a blend of Thief, Mirror’s Edge and Arkane’s very own Dark Messiah of Might and Magic topped off with an art style that’s reminiscent of Half-Life 2. If that doesn’t sound like a winning combo, we really don’t know what is. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like the game may release this year.
