E3 2011: Battlefield 3 Dated

At EA’s E3 press conference, DICE finally let loose on some Battlefield 3 related dates. The game will release across the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 25th of October 2011 and the multiplayer beta promised with the Special Edition of Medal of Honor will kick off sometime in September.

As you know Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the game’s biggest competitor will be launching nearly two weeks later by the 8th of November. Will an early release window allow Battlefield to gain an upper hand or will Modern Warfare 3 emerge victorious?
