E3 2011: Saints Row: The Third Dated

Saints Row 2 was an awesome, over-the-top romp in the open ended city of Stillwater where it was possible to beat old ladies to death with huge purple dildos (true story). With Saints Row: The Third, developer Volition really wants to push the envelope when it comes to sheer balls-to-the-wall mayhem. This is quite evident in the CG trailer released today that see people being shot, stabbed, beaten up and thrown off roofs .

And now for the bad news. Volition have announced a November 15th release date for this game across the Xbox360, PS3 and PC. What’s so bad about the news you ask? Well you wouldn’t be asking me that question if you knew how many games were releasing in that very same month. You have Uncharted 3, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3, Skyrim and lots more to come. And now if you listen real carefully, you’ll hear your wallet slitting its tiny wrists.


Expect more Saints Row 3 at this year's E3.
