God of War 4 to have Multiplayer?

Last month, magazine PSM3 set the internet swooning with a rumor that God of War 4 was being worked upon and prepped for a 2012 release date. While Sony has been mum on the matter so far, most of us expect them to break their silence at E3 this year. Till then it seems UK’s Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) continues to keep the rumor mill churning with word that God of War 4 would in fact ship with multiplayer. Here’s the official quote from the magazine’s rumor section, via CVG “Kratos is on his way back, with his next adventure set to feature multiplayer."  How would MP even work in a GoW game?
