Heavenly Sword 2 at E3 2011?

10 May, 2011, 11:22 am IST | by Avinash Bali | Gaming

It’s no secret that developer Ninja Theory’s Heavenly Sword was a bit too ambitious for its own good. Even though the game got panned in its reviews, it seems red haired protagonist Nariko may be back for more Heavenly action as magazine PlayGamer suggests Heavenly Sword 2 could be announced at E3 2011. To be obviously taken with a heavy dose of salt, it seems the next iteration of the game will be an open ended one, taking place ten years after the original. Also it seems players will have to “earn the right to wield the sword after mastering different martial arts disciplines”.

Now it remains to be seen which developer would handle development of this project as developer Ninja Theory are busy butchering the Devil May Cry franchise.
