More Call of Duty incoming

| by Avinash Bali | Gaming

Love it or hate it but there’s no doubt that the world can’t get enough of Call of Duty. The games have become pretty contrived by now but they do pack in some solid entertainment and addictive multiplayer making them Activision’s biggest franchise today. And in a move that will probably surprise no one, Bobby Kotick, Activision’s CEO announced a new Call of Duty game for 2012 at an investor meeting.

If history is anything to go by, this game will be released in November and will obviously sell more than any other game on the planet. Besides a new Call of Duty game, Activision also announced DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 that can now be enjoyed by gamers who do not have an Elite subscription. This DLC is called the Content Collection and will pack in three of the multiplayer maps released till date - Liberation, Overwatch, and Piazza. Price and a release date were not announced.

Thanks to Game Informer for the heads up.
