New RAGE Trailer Looks Badass

I’ll be honest here. I’ve had mixed feelings about RAGE for a while now. On one hand it looks like a post-apocalyptic shooter I’ve played a million times by now but on the other hand, it looks like a post-apocalyptic shooter I’ve played a million times by now made by id Software. But today, the game’s trailer released at the ongoing QuakeCon 2011 made me a believer. Maybe it was the Marilyn Manson-esque guitar chords mixed with all the glorious decapitations. Or maybe it was the fact that the game looks pretty freaking awesome. Either way, check it out for yourself.

Oh and Bethesda also seemed to mention that if their RAGE Facebook page got more than 100,000 likes, the iOS version of the game will be free for a week. RAGE will release by the 7th of October 2011 for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
