Ninja Gaiden 3 to axe decapitations

22 Aug, 2011, 11:37 am IST | by Avinash Bali | Gaming

Even though Ninja Gaiden 2 was ludicrously tough, the over-the-top violence and decapitations made it all worth it. Watching Ryu slice and dice the limbs of anything that moved was worth the price of admission alone so when developer Team Ninja decided to omit decapitations from Ninja Gaiden 3, we’re wondering what kind of herb these dudes are smoking. And the best part is that they justify this omission to IGN by claiming they did it for the fans since apparently we don’t want to see it anymore. Wait, what!

Apparently us gamers don't like this anymore

According to Team Ninja, Ninja Gaiden 3 is still as violent as ever and with this iteration they want people to experience the act of killing someone with a sword. Which is awesome and all but if my memory serves me correctly, steel is stronger than flesh and bone so when a powerful ninja like Ryu wields a bad ass Dragon sword, body parts should technically be flying all over the place right?

I have no idea where they get their feedback from but they’re definitely talking to the wrong people.
