Ninja Gaiden 3 to be more Accessible than Predecessors

04 Apr, 2011, 10:41 am IST | by Avinash Bali | Gaming

Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2 were games that could make you break your controller and turn you off gaming for a while. But if you got past their obscene difficulty, you were treated to very solid action games complimented by a deep and satisfying combat system. And Ninja Gaiden II was a bloodbath so even if you were killed multiple times by an enemy, the decapitations and ridiculous gore kept you going.

With Ninja Gaiden III, developer Team Ninja are planning on rebooting the franchise to make sure it doesn’t turn people off. Masochists will have their difficulty to torture themselves with but for anyone else not looking to break their controller, Team Ninja are promising a more “accessible” game. This obviously doesn’t mean an easier game. Umm ok then. Besides that expect a “complex multiplayer system” and a game that will allow players to actually experience what it feels like to gut a man. I can see Fox having a field day with this.

All these details and more were unveiled in the latest OPM (Official PlayStation Magazine) by the game’s lead, Yosuke Hayashi that GamesThirst has been kind enough to summarize.
