id Software’s highly anticipated shooter Rage is all set to get a novel tie-in that should hit stores this August, according to the Escapist. The book will be penned by Matt Costello, the very same author who worked on the Doom novels as well. Like the game, the book will recount the chronicles of Lt. Nick Raine as he survives the cruel post apocalyptic world of Rage.  Post apocalyptic warrior
Rage marks the return of famed developer id Software who’ve been relatively low key ever since Doom 3 and its expansion packs in 2004. Besides an official confirmation that Doom 4 is in development, id have been pretty busy with Rage, an open world first person shooter that’ll offer frantic action both on wheels and on-foot. |
