Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City coming this March

Operation Raccoon City, the next chapter in the long running Resident Evil series will be hitting stores all over America by the 20th of March 2012. We’re guessing it will make its way to India a few days later. The action, as the name suggests, has now moved back to Raccoon City and players must face off against the blood thirsty horde purging the streets from anything that’s well dead.

Will he live or die?

This time around you’ll get to play as both, a Special Operations team, the good guys as well as Umbrella Corporation’s Security Service, the shady guys who basically have to clean up Umbrella’s mess.  You’ll also get to impact all future Resident Evil games as players will have big choices to make such as killing Leon Kennedy, the protagonist from Resident Evil 4.

Unfortunately for PC gamers, the release date only holds true for the Xbox360 and PS3 versions. Like always, expect a delay on that platform. Thanks to Gameinformer for the heads up.
