Starhawk public beta begins next week

If you’re clamouring for some multiplayer action post the Battlefield 3/Modern Warfare phase, you may want to check out the PlayStation 3 exclusive Starhawk. The spiritual successor to Warhawk will be entering its public multiplayer beta next week and if you own a copy of Uncharted 3, you can get right in by the 21st of January. If not, Sony will be posting other ways to enter the beta across its blog, Facebook and IGN.

If all else fails, everyone with a PSN account will be able to get into the beta post 21st February 2012. PS3 users who got into the private beta held last month will automatically be granted into the public beta as well. Once again, this is just a multiplayer beta so don’t go expecting any single player stuff in there.

Starhawk releases exclusively for the PS3 sometime in 2012.
