Alec Baldwin kicked off plane for playing Words With Friends

| by Padmini Harchandrai | General

We agree Words With Friends is a pretty addictive game. After all, it did make our list of top 10 addictive mobile games (and it IS a Zynga game!). But here's when it got a little too addictive. Actor Alec Baldwin got kicked out of a plane because he did not follow the rule of no in-flight electronics use. According to The Verge, the plane was still at the gate when he got booted off, but one passenger said that the plane had to traverse back to the gate just to let the Vice-President of NBC (on television, at least!) off the plane. All this because of his addiction to Words with Friends.

Of course, Baldwin would not stay quiet. He already has a pretty large Twitter presence and did not stay quiet about his experience. Based on his tweets, he was flying American Airlines. He expressed his frustration with the airline in a tweet, hashtagging that there is always United Airlines. " Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950's find jobs as flight attendants."

Of course, taking into account his addiction to Words With Friends, he did have this suggestion for United Airlines, "United shud hav app onboard where u can play WWF w other passengers. American shud have app where u read the new testament w flt attendants."
