Apple Fanboys are Religious in the Brain

If you're an Apple fanboy, your church, Mecca, insert major religious destination here, is quite literally, the mall. Or at least the Apple store at the mall. A BBC documentary series has shown that for Apple fans, the brand triggers a reaction in the brain which is very similar to the brain activity of religious devotees. Neurologists conducted MRI tests on Apple fans and compared results with MRI tests run on religious devotees. An Apple product literally lights up the same areas in the brain as does an image of a deity to a devotee.  God is an Apple
There's no doubt that Apple fans are really fond of Apple products. Really really fond. To the point where they behave like evangelists, the documentary shows .There are countless examples of Macheads getting tattoos, merchandise and killing themselves standing in line for new products to demonstrate the 'devotion' to the brand. Does that make Steve Jobs god? Uh oh! The biggest problem I see here is the numerous awful puns coming out of it. Like "Nutjobs pray to Steve Jobs". |
