D-Link Announces the KVM-222

D-Link the designer, developer, and manufacturer of networking solutions has recently unveiled the KVM-222. The D-Link KVM-222 is a 2-port switch that enables users to control two PCs from a single keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor console. The KVM-222 switch has audio support where two connected PCs can share a set of speakers through a 3.5 mm stereo jack.

The KVM-222 allows users to simultaneously boot two computer systems using micro processor emulation. This switch also has auto scan, audible feedback and a wired remote control which helps users simplify the switching process.

Features of the D-Link KVM-222 are:

  • Multiple PCs can be accessed with one set of keyboard, mouse, monitor and audio
  • Remote control to switch independently
  • Select PCs by using a remote control button
  • Stereo audio support
  • Compatible USB 1.1 specifications
  • Support SVGA, VGA, XGA, WXGA, UXGA, WUXGA, QXGA and multi-sync monitors (the max. resolution is up to 2048 x 1536)
  • Supports DDC, DDC2, and DDC2B
  • Compatible with Windows 2000  /  XP /  Vista  /  7, Linux and Mac OS 10.3 and up
  • No additional cable or adapter required


The D-Link KVM-222 is available in India for Rs. 3,100 and has a warranty for up to one year.
