LTE versions of Galaxy S II, Galaxy Tab 8.9 to be announced at IFA 2011

IFA 2011 is all set to commence from the 2nd of September, this year in Berlin, Germany. There are already plenty of rumours, speculations, as well as announcements. Among these is an official announcement from Samsung. Samsung has announced LTE versions of the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both these devices are expected to debut at IFA in a few days time. Apart from LTE, the new S II will have upgraded features. The list of features include, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED plus display with WVGA resolution, instead of the 4.3 -inch display on the standard S II. The battery is updated to a 1850mAh one and the dual-core processor gets clocked to 1.5GHz. The plastic battery cover gets replaced with a metal one and there is a changed homescreen button.

Moving onto the Galaxy tab, all specs remain the same, except for the processor speed, which gets boosted to 1.5 GHz. Apart from these devices, reports suggest that Samsung may introduce new devices such as the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the Wave 3, and the Galaxy Note.
