For Mosaid, the list of accused runs long. It includes names like - AsusTek Computer Inc.; Inc.; Canon U.S.A., Inc.; Dell, Inc.; Intel Corporation; Research in Motion Corporation.

According to Mosaid, these companies have used the patents by Mosaid in the past, and continue to do so without a license. Mosaid’s Wi-Fi patents, which are also known to belong to the IEEE 802.11 family of communications. Several of the patents that belong to this category include patents ranging from U.S. Patent Nos. 5,131,006; 5,151,920; 5,422,887; 5,706,428; 6,563,786 B1; and 6,992,972. Most of these aren’t of recent origin, and have been in use with the low – level telecommunications technology.

Mosaid has in the past licensed these patents to 15 companies, who have recognized the same. But, the same supposedly hasn’t happened in the case of these 17 companies.
