Opera Gets Oprah Fan Mail

27 May, 2011, 10:06 am IST | by Rossi Fernandes | General

Oprah Winfrey hosted her last TV show a couple of days back. The show was on air for 25 years. Some 4561 episodes were aired during this period. Obviously, a show such as this would have a massive fan following but Oprah's fans might have confused Oprah with Opera, the popular web browser developer.

Turns out the software developer has been receiving fan mail from fans asking Oprah with all sorts of requests. Opera software employees have been politely responding to those mails. The mails range from requests by teenagers wanting to show off their hair on the show, to ticket requests by a nine year old for Hannah Montana’s show. Opera employees responded to the nine year old by telling her that they make something called browsers, which is used on their family’s computer. They also went ahead and recommended some other artists to listen to. The list of e-mails that Opera received is listed on one of their blogs.
