Kickstarter, a crowd funding site for creative projects is a meeting place for new ideas, start-ups, etc that cover a wide genre right from indie films, food, music, comics, video games to technology. The idea behind this successful program is that rather than approaching big organizations for funding, start-ups are funded by you, the average user. If you like an idea or a project that’s been presented, you simply donate a small amount and once they reach their goal, that product can soon become a commercial reality. This year, Pebble e-paper watch became the most funded project in the history of Kickstarter, only six days after launching. A project by Pebble Technology, the watch boasts of an e-ink display and has support for apps that will sync with your iPhone or Android phone. After that, the type of apps are left to imagination of the app developer, but Pebble has already shown a couple of interesting applications for their new accessory. ![]() The pebble watch
