At the FPD International Event, held last year, Samsung showcased its 7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. Soon after, a report claimed that Samsung was already working on improving the resolution to 1024 x 768, and so here it is. According to a source, couple of insiders state that Samsung is manufacturing Super AMOLED HD displays. The displays are expected to come in different sizes viz 5-inch , 6-inch and 7-inch. The 5-inch and 6-inch smartphone can be expected later this fall and a 7-inch tablet might show up by the end of this year. 7-inch Super AMOLED display showcased at FPD 2010 (Image credit: engadget.com)
