Sony Ericsson And Reebok Offer Fitness Kit

Sony Ericsson has teamed with Reebok to offer 'The Ultimate Fitness Kit', to every customer who purchases the Sony Ericsson W710i Active Walkman Phone. The Reebok gift voucher, which comes with the phone, can be redeemed for Special Edition RBK Foster running shoes, which will enable users to measure the distance traveled and count the calories burnt on the Sony Ericsson W710i Active Walkman phone.The Reebok running shoes come equipped with in-built applications like step counter and calorie meter, along with the music application. Sudhin Mathur, General Manager, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, India said, "The Indian consumers are increasingly becoming fitness conscious and this is the first association where a leading handset manufacturing company has joined hands with a leading Sports and fitness company to come out with the Ultimate Fitness kit . The Sony Ericsson W710i Active Walkman phone is a unique product designed to compliment the lifestyle of people on the move who are fitness freaks. The W710i comes with in-built applications like the step counter and calorie meter in addition to all the unique music applications that come with owning a Walkman phone." Subhinder Singh Prem, Managing Director of Reebok India said, "We realize that as leaders in India it is upon us to grow the category of fitness and come up with innovative fitness solutions. The ‘Ultimate Fitness Kit’ is a step in that direction. The fitness information that Sony Ericsson W710i Walkman phone provides while consumers run and train in Reebok Foster running shoes is our way of enabling people to achieve their personal fitness goals by making exercise into an experience."
