Sony India has expanded its Micro Vault family with three new Micro Vault USB Flash Drives - two all-new Micro Vault 'Click' models and the latest Micro Vault Tiny. The Micro Vault Tiny highlights an expanded 8 GB storage capacity while the Micro Vault 'Click' models features an innovative 'Click' mechanism. In addition, the Micro Vault 'Click' USM-LX series is a high-speed USB flash drive, with a read-out speed of up to 31MB/s. The Micro Vault 'Click' models have no caps and do not expose the USB connectors when not in use. The new Micro Vault 'Click's unique design employs a 'clicking' action similar to that of a retractable pen. When 'clicked', the USB connector is extended for easy use with notebook and computers, televisions, or any electronic device that utilizes a USB port for the transfer of information. In addition, the 'prism' LED indicator illuminates when the Micro Vault 'Click' is connected to a computer and during data transfer. The Micro Vault 'Click' uses a USB 2.0 platform which supports Windows ReadyBoost. When the Micro Vault 'Click' is connected to a computer with Windows Vista installed, Windows ReadyBoost enables any specified amount of the USB flash drive's memory to be added to the computer's system cache. This helps to enhance system performance and stability on the computer, and allows for switching between active programmes and applications efficiently. The 8 GB Micro Vault 'Click' will cost Rs. 2000. |
