The Angry Birds cookbook is here

Don't know how to boil an egg and need to learn how? The Angry Birds cookbook, titled, "Angry Birds: Bad Piggies' Egg Recipes" is available now on Amazon.com for $10.19 (approx Rs.527), though the list price for the book is $14.99 (approx Rs.775). The protagonist of the book, unlike the game, is the pig and the book urges you to be a pig for a day and no Angry Bird will knock you down.

The book contains 40 egg-based recipes (see, the pigs win. They have their eggs and eat them too!), which range from scrambled eggs, omlettes, eggs Benedict and quiche. According to Mashable, the book also contains some out-there options like Egg Sushi as well as fun names for some recipes for example, "Ice, Ice Baby" for a sorbet.

Other Angry Birds paraphernalia that exists on Amazon include doodle books, figure sets, playing cards and a 2012 wall calendar. The cookbook was first announced in June, and the Head of Marketing and Business Development at Rovio Mobile, Peter Vesterbacka said that the books would be distributed by Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Apple and would be available in both book form and as an ebook. He said the book is a step towards Rovio becoming, not just a gaming company, but a full-fledged gaming company.
