If you have tons of money, want to travel in absolute luxury, but are afraid that you’re mucking up the environment, Rolls Royce my just have the perfect solution for you. I just read on the Daily Mail UK that the legendary super-luxury car maker has unveiled their latest creation, an electric version of the Rolls Royce Phantom. The car has been christened the Rolls Royce Phantom EX102 and was just shown off at the Geneva Motor Show. The car is said to be the world’s first battery powered vehicle for the ultra-luxury segment. Helping the super wealthy save the earth
The Phantom EX102 offers really great mileage at approximately Rs. 1.50 per mile, which is a lot more when compared to the original, which has a running cost of around Rs. 29.5 per mile. Now there’s a huge difference if there ever was one! However, the car costs close to a whopping £1million, which is more than thrice the price of the original model. Even though the Phantom EX102 is an electric car, it still performs very well. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in eight seconds and has a top speed of 100 mph, although this has been artificially limited by the company. This car also houses the world’s largest passenger car battery and has a range of 125 miles on a full charge. |
