MapMyIndia announced that BMW's Series 7 cars in India will use MapMyIndia maps for their integrated global positioning systems (GPS). BMW India dealership locations and contact details are also mapped in the BMW Navigation Professional to provide access for after sales and service across all locations in India.
The map updates will be available at BMW India dealerships twice a year (maps are updated every six months) keeping the data current and more comprehensive with information on one-ways, turn restrictions etc. and more number of cities at a detailed level. Clearly this is a better idea than using say, Google maps given the way our roads change names, usability and more roads are added.
