For those who felt the need for more displays than one, now you can have six displays connected to one graphics card. AMD has launched a relatively lower-end GPU that supports connectivity for up to six displays. The graphics solution also supports HDMI 1.4 which means stereographic capabilities can be used as well as DisplayPort 1.2 connectivity. AMD's new compact, lower-power embedded GPU solution for specialised systems
Like most of the other AMD Radeon series of cards, GPGPU support using the OpenCL framework will be present for applications that can harness the power of the multiple of the 480 stream processors onboard the GPU. The GPU clock will be run at a speed of 600 MHz and the memory clock, 800 MHz. The amount of memory onboard the card will be 1 GB. Like all of the other Radeon 6000 series of cards from AMD, the E6760 will also be manufactured using the 40nm fabrication process. TDP of the card will be a very reasonable 35W. The E6760 is designed as an embedded graphics solution for more specialized uses other PCs. The Radeon E6760 embedded GPU replaces the E4690, which was used for similar roles. |
