Asus today launched the GeForce GTX Titan GPU, which is based on the supercomputer-grade Nvidia Tesla K20X architecture. The new card is said to deliver the world’s most powerful single-GPU performance. As per a press release, the GPU is optimised for DirectX 11.1 and PCI Express 3.0, and has a GPU clock of 876 MHz achieved by use of Nvidia’s GPU Boost 2.0 technology.
The GTX Titan has a mind-numbing 6GB of GDDR5 video memory clocked at 6000 MHz. The company claims that the GPU delivers graphics processing power in standards well beyond full HD 1080p.
