After a whole long list of launches of GeForce 500 series of cards, it’s time to receive the entry-level graphics cards. ZOTAC, one of NVIDIA’s partners has just launched their new GeForce GT520 card. The ZOTAC Geforce GT 520 runs the 40nm GT520 GPU clocked at a very high 810 MHz and uses 1 GB of DDR3 memory.

It’s a DirectX 11 compliant card and comes with Dual-link DVI, HDMI and D-Sub outputs. This might not be a card design to play high-end games but the connectivity options and its low power requirements are ideal to be used in a low-power HTPC. Like all of the recent NVIDIA GPUs, this one too supports CUDA as well as PhysX. ZOTAC is bundling the BOOST Premium software package which is a collection of a couple of software including the Cooliris media browsing software, XBMC, a free media centre software solution and also Kylo, a web browser that’s designed specifically to be used on an HTPC.
