ASUS today announced a new member in their O!Play line of Multimedia Players. The O!Play HD2 is the world’s first USB 3.0 Multimedia Center and combines a host of other amazing features which, on paper, put it above the rest. World's first USB 3.0 Multimedia Center The O!Play HD2 supports the most popular formats including MPEG2, MPEG4, MKV and DEVD functional navigation of ISO and IFO formats. It also supports Dolby TrueHD decoding and pass-through, incidentally a feature missing from Western Digital's devices, taking full advantage of the Blu-ray disc to produce 100 % lossless audio. With the O!Play HD2, you can experience 7.1- channel audio for theatre-like enjoyment. The O!Play HD2 also has NAS support, iPhone Connectivity and DLNA compatibility for effortless access to online entertainment. With 3.5-inch hard drive support and an easy swap and store design, consumers can easily use their O!Play HD2 as a external HDD.
