Asus Launches the O!Play MINI for Compact Home Entertainment Solutions

Most people are content with their Blu-ray players and rightly so, as more and more of these players come with added functionality. A lot of them can even play Full HD MKV files. But for those who want something more for a fraction of the cost and size, the O!Play MINI from Asus seems like a good choice.

This little thing claims to have plenty of functionality including powerful decoders with support for most media formats. This media player weighs in at just 175g, but has some pretty neat functions such as RighTxT subtitling, a 4-in-1 card reader and HDMI connectivity with 1080p playback. Even sound is covered, as it can play back 7.1 audio.

The O!Play MINI also seems to be a simple device, as it features plug and play. The 4-in-1 card reader supports SD, MMC, MS and xD formats from which you can watch movies, view photos or listen to music.
