If you’re tired of shuttling between your favourite sports game and chatting with your girlfriend on Skype, here’s the solution. Just get Skype on your TV. Mad you say? It’s true, though, because both Sony as Vizio will soon start shipping Skype-enabled TVs later this year. Panasonic and Samsung already have this facility on some of their TVs, so it’s about time that Sony got on this bandwagon too. Skype on your TV - a couch potato's delight Skype has also been working closely with Panasonic and Sony to develop an app that you can use even with your current TV, and this will come in the form of a Blu-ray player with webcam. Skype hasn’t been too forthcoming with release dates, but this is definitely something a lot of people will be looking forward to. |
